Tea Party in a Secret Moss Garden | Tulip Farm E20

🌷⬇️🌷LOOK HERE🌷⬇️ 🌷 for Gwen's fantastic Lemon Tea Cake Recipe. In our garden story we admire the tulips and forage moss for reproduction. The rosemary was blooming so beautifully in Oregon and Gwen brought some home. As the old saying goes--- rosemary is for remembrance. Please to join us as we remember happy times in the spring garden.

🌷Lemon Tea Cake🌷
2 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tablespoon finely grated lemon peel

Glaze
1/3 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar

-Generously butter and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside. Preheat oven to 350'.
In large mixer bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
Reduce speed to low and add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Scrape sides of bowl with rubber scraper if needed. Do not overbeat.
-Fold in lemon peel.
-Pour in pan. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted in middle of cake. remove from oven. Let cool for 5 minutes on a cake rack. Invert cake onto rack. Brush glaze over hot cake.
-For Glaze: do not mix glaze until ready to brush on cake. In small bowl stir lemon juice and sugar together. The sugar will not all dissolve. Cool cake completely before serving.
