OrgYou can add this Vegetable/Mushroom water sautéed food to a salad, over black rice, mixed with beans, or straight up. I put the ingredients below at the end.
At 75 I can truly say that I am eating better than ever before in my life. I continue to research, listen to my body, note my daily vitality levels, and do whatever makes my heart sing and supports my ongoing healthy longevity.
I highly recommend that you read Dr Joel Fuhrman's Eat for Life, or his earlier book Eat to Live. Alternatively, or in addition, you can watch/listen to his YouTube channel videos.
My intention in this series of Nutritarian videos is to make your transition from junk food and processed food eating style (the Deadly American Diet...DAD), to a True Vegetarian Nutritarian Eating Style easier and more satisfying.
When I say True Vegetarian, I mean eating greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries, seeds, nuts, colorful fruits and vegetables.
I do not eat any dairy, no fish, no fowl, no eggs, no pig, no cows, no white flour, no honey, no white potato, no white rice, no added salt, oil, sugar.
The Latin word Vegetus = active, invigorating: This suggests something that energizes or revitalizes. To impart energy to, or invigorate: These meanings describe the action of giving energy or life to something. If what you are consuming does not do this...it is not True Vegetarian.
Important Reminder: Cut your cruciferous vegetables and onions up small at the beginning of your prep, so that the ITC cancer fighting compounds are formed prior to heating. Also Add seeds and/or nuts when serving and you will get ten times more out of your food. Consider using Hemp, Black Sesame, Walnuts, Sunflower seeds, or some ground flax or chia seeds.
