Hike to Eightmile Lake | Alpine Lakes Wilderness | Leavenworth, WA

This hiking trail is near Leavenworth, off of Icicle Creek Road and is rated as medium difficulty. Steve and I enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful mountain views. We brought our fishing poles and fished a bit at the lake, though it was pretty windy. We saw a wide variety of wildflowers in bloom, a snake and a chipmunk. We had our eyes open for larger game but didn't see any this time.
