Institute of Public Affairs Research Fellow Saxon Davidson says the biggest “burden” on the housing and rental crisis in Australia is immigration.
“The biggest burden on renters regarding housing and rentals is immigration and it’s undeniable,” Mr Davidson told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
”International students continue to rise, immigration continues to rise”.
“The government have no plan to cap immigration.
“Australians support immigration because we’re an immigrant country, but immigration is only a good idea for Australia and Australians when it is planned for.”
