Criccieth to Porthmadog - WALKING THE WALES COAST PATH

Hello everyone and welcome to this video of the walk from Criccieth to Porthmadog on the Wales Coast Path filmed in February 2025!

Criccieth a small town on the Llyn Peninsula dominated by the fantastic Castle that was remodelled by Edward I is the start of a wonderful walk on the Wales Coast Path! This had to be my favourite walk this year so far on the Wales Coast Path!

Upon leaving Criccieth we see the Castle in all it's glory but on we go with the walk for around 1 mile of the walk you will be walking beside the train track from Shrewsbury to Pwllheli until we get to grassy part then Graig Ddu (Black Rock)! Then we go up the 1st of 2 hills during the day going up the hill makes you realise what a wonderful Country Wales is!

Carrying on the Wales Coast Path and when I spotted the Black Rock Sands for the 1st time from the height the Coast Path is at it was such a wonderful view I really hope you enjoyed the views of Black Rock Sands as much as I did!

On towards Black Rock Sands this is a wonderful beach 2 miles of clean sandy beach what a wonderful places this truly is and I hope you the viewers enjoyed the beach walk on Black Rock to!

Once reaching the Ynys Cyngar headland the headland opens out towards Samson's Bay another brilliant beach 2 brilliant beaches in under 20 minutes!

After Samson's Bay we go up some steep steps for around a few minutes then we follow thee Coast Path until we reach Borth-y-Gest a little village just outside of Porthmadog a lovely place with wonderful views out towards the sea!

After going past Porthmadog Sailing Club after a mile or so we finally reach the Centre of Porthmadog near Cob Crwn to finish the walk!
