Lagoon In The Middle Of The Mountain Of São Brás In São Miguel,Azores/Visit Tea Factory Chá Gorreana

This week we drove to Sao Bras Lagoon in the village of Sao Bras, with breathtaking views along the Northern side of the island of Sao Miguel, Azores. The untouched landscape is magnificent with green hills, and the clear blue ocean water is unlike anything I have ever seen. We also stopped at the oldest tea factory in Europe Cha Gorreana and had a warm cup of tea while learning about the history of the factory, we also took a wrong turn into the town of Port Formoso and came across the port in that town, my husband and I looked back on a time when we took a boat ride long the northern side of the island, were we took our first dive in the middle of the Atlantic ocean it was very scary but we both did it..Last but not least we visited the town of São Brás which stands out as the church located there is very different and unique then most churches on the island as it has two towers in terracotta colour.

Esta semana fomos até a Lagoa de São Brás, na vila de São Brás, com vistas de tirar o fôlego ao longo do lado norte da ilha de São Miguel, Açores. A paisagem intocada é magnífica com colinas verdes, e a água azul clara do oceano é diferente de tudo que já vi. Também paramos na fábrica de chá mais antiga da Europa, Chá Gorreana, e tomamos uma xícara de chá quente enquanto aprendíamos sobre a história da fábrica, também pegamos uma rua errada na Freguesia de Porto Formoso e nos deparamos com o Porto naquela cidade, meu marido e eu relembramos do último passeio de barco que fizemos pela costa norte da ilha, onde demos nosso primeiro mergulho no meio do oceano Atlântico, foi muito assustador, mas mesmo assim fizemos. Por último, mas não menos importante, visitamos a Freguesia de São Brás, que se destaca porque a igreja localizada nessa Freguesia é muito diferente e única com suas duas torres de terracota.
