When Peter Spoecker first departed from the Glimmerlight, he initially adopted the moniker Macrofusion. Powered by his Blue Crystal, he conjured a number of captivating cassettes under this alias.

When the Progbarians learned of the existence of the Sagegazers and sought to wipe them out forever, Peter changed his name again, now calling himself Shining Lotus. He gathered his Blue Crystal and his numerous synths and undertook the Second Migration to Joshua Tree, California. There, he created some of the pinnacle cassettes of the Patchoulilight, chief among them, 1986's Natural Voices, a sonic tribute to his new environs in Joshua Tree.
