Learn how to make this quick & creamy Mushroom Curry without cashews! 🍄✨
This easy Indian-style curry is packed with flavor from garlic, yogurt, fried onions, and warm spices. Perfect with rice, naan bread, or roti — ready in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients:
250g mushrooms (sliced)
2 Sweet red peppers(optional)
3 tbsp yogurt
1 cup fried onions (crushed)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric
Salt (to taste)
1 star anise
1 bay leaf
1 dry red chili
2 tbsp oil
Method:
Marinate mushrooms with yogurt, garlic, chili powder, turmeric, salt, and fried onions. Rest 10 minutes.
Heat oil, add star anise, bay leaf, and dry red chili.
Add marinated mushrooms, sauté on high flame for 5 minutes.
Lower the flame, cover, and cook for 10 minutes until rich and creamy.
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
