Hello everyone, and welcome to the basement. This video was indirectly inspired by the Nostalgia Nerd who a couple of years back took a look at the book "Experiments for your computer" published in 1985 by Usborne and made a video on the temperature experiments taken from its pages. Recently Cyberhug Technologies stumbled upon the Nostalgia Nerd's video and was inspired to make one of his own. Both of these guy's videos use sensors connected to the Commodore 64.
I watched Cyberhug's video and was very impressed by what he was up to. Then I started to wonder what could be done with the light sensor in particular. I took a look at the PDF (which is freely available for download from Usborne) and found that the book covered experiments for a number of different computer types the TRS-80 included. So I rolled up my sleeves, broke out my Coco 2 and started filming.
