I pulled this 2nd engine apart to replace that oil collector o-ring, expecting it to be a clean engine. To my surprise there was the same thing going on in that engine as well. This ones from a 2006 CLS 55. I'm obviously concerned at this point because I blew one engine because of this and the 2nd one has the same thing going on. I'll keep asking people and see if I find something on the topic but if any of you guys find out something, let me know as well.
