This is the Hike and Bike trail located in Waxahachie, Tx. Riding through this 7 mile round trip there are really cool things to see. It starts in Getzendaner Park and winds through the Waxahachie city cemetery closely followed by the high school's baseball field, Richard's Park. After this it continues into the south downtown area and passing by the old Interurban railway. Continuing on it passes the city dog park and farmer's market eventually ending up in Lion's park. The entire trail closely follows a creek as well which is really cool. If you have the opportunity, go check it out! 3-1/2 miles each way and it is mostly shaded.
