Parts of a Langstroth Bee Hive.

When we named ourselves Plan Bee Orchard and Farm, we did so knowing that bees would be part of our future here. We are getting excited for the arrival of our bee packages and share with you the basic parts of our Langstroth bee hive.

The Langstroth hive has been around for over 150 years and is probably the most prevalent type of hive in bee keeping. Some other common types are top bar and long hives.
