Sometimes you need to cut circles or odd angles in Hardie Backer or other fiber cement panels. Like when laying tile around a toilet flange, etc. That's when your diamond wheel on a circular saw or grinder isn't going to be as helpful as a jigsaw blade. Whenever I have just a few cuts to make in hardie backer, especially if there are curves involved, I get out my Bosch T141HM1 carbide tipped jigsaw blade. It makes quick work of Hardie backer and fiber cement panels.
