Off Road tire pressures, where to start? A Nerds approach to the DUNLOP TRAILMAX MISSION Tire Part 1

Hi Guys, for the experienced riders looking at the TrailMax Mission tire you might just want to see the stop frame inflation of the front and rear tires on my AJP PR7, loaded to approx’ 275kg.

I have pulled together information that I have come across during my research for the tires. I will be making a further video on my conclusions, once I have had time to process my real life experience of pressure choices over the coming weeks.

I have drawn up a Tire Spec’ Chart, which I used to indicate usable pressures at different weights or speeds.

The calculating Spreadsheet Developed, to suggest minimum safe pressures for weight and speed, which allows me to compare tires. Also to visualize the impact of temperature change on those pressures.

Additionally, I have made some Stop frame Videos of the front and rear tires, all of which I am sharing with you today, and of course…. actual testing which is ongoing and will be reported back when complete.
