Whetstones of Indonesia - Natural whetstones

Proud to introduce something different. Natural whetstones from Indonesia. Very inexpensive. Something new and feels good. The grain structure is really even and the higher grits get very soft. Interesting to use. Very easy to use. You see that the knife gets extremely sharp. Only needing to go up to the 3000, but we go beyond. We go up to the 7000 grit. Smaller in size than what I'm used to. Don't seem to wear out very easily. Only time will tell. I have included a link for someone who sells these stones out of that country. We look forward to trying polishing with them soon. I do think that will be successful. They start at 400 grit, then to 700 grit and progressively get finer: 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 7000. Get yours and have some fun. Something new. Very reminiscent of Japanese natural stones but they aren't as hard. There are many pros and cons to that of course. And it doesn't cost a lot to get into these. If you've tried the rest then try something different. I am wearing the Nick Kennedy t-shirt.
