We took 3 - 3L charred oak barrels (#3 char) and put 3L of bourbon into each for a month. Along the way we took 2 oz samples at weeks 2, 3, and 4 to see what rebarrelling bourbons in these small barrels would do to the taste. We tried it with Ancient Ancient Age 10 Star, Very Old Barton 86pf, and Buffalo Trace. The results were mixed, how did it go?
