1. Texas System w/ 2x handled ascenders
2. RAD System
3. Frog System
Caution: When using a pair of ascenders, make sure to size the cow's tail of the lower ascender (the one that the etrier should be attached to) appropriately. If you weight this lower ascender via the etrier and then disconnect the upper ascender, you must ensure that there is no potential for more than 1 foot of free-fall distance. Only under this condition does either a handled ascender or a chest ascender count as a full point of connection on the rope.
