Oregon campgrounds do not disappoint! In our last episode, we arrived at Pacific City Thousand Trails in Pacific City, Orgeon, and right away we headed out to the beach on trails through the campground for a quick (nothing is ever quick with this family😂) hike out to the dunes at Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area.

The beach was amazing, and you can drive vehicle out there at low tide. We also unexpectedly got donuts on the beach. These weren't the usual donuts we like to enjoy on the beach but still fun to watch! 😉

Corey and Leila attempted to check out an arch below the sand dunes, but it didn’t go as they had hoped! We hiked the dunes to get to the overlook getting another view of Chief Kiawanda Rock, a beautiful sea stack off the coast.

We mentioned in our last video that it is important to not overplan your trips. This full day of exploration happened because we decided to go take a walk to the beach. Give yourself room in your schedule to find treasures along the way!
