📋 Ingredients:
• 7 cups flour
• 8 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
• Pinch of salt
• 1 cup coconut powder
• 2 cups milk + 2 tbsp vinegar (for buttermilk)
• Vanilla essence (to taste)
• 1 cup inkomazi (maas)
• 400g cold butter
• 180g sugar (about 1 cup)

🔥 Method:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 200°C, line baking tray with parchment.
2️⃣ Sift together flour, baking powder, bicarb, salt, sugar, and coconut powder.
3️⃣ Grate cold butter into dry ingredients and rub in until fine crumbs form.
4️⃣ Mix inkomazi, buttermilk (milk + vinegar), and vanilla essence.
5️⃣ Combine wet and dry ingredients gently — don’t overmix.
6️⃣ Roll/press dough to 2 cm thickness, cut shapes.
7️⃣ Place on tray, brush tops with eggwash/milk mixture.
8️⃣ Bake 15 min until golden.
9️⃣ Serve warm with butter, jam, or cream.
