Brendan Bialy Earns Title of U S Marine

Scenes of PFC Brendon Bialy, from Castle Rock, Colorado graduating recruit training ... earning the title of United States Marine on September 20, 2019 along with comments from PFC Baily, a drill instructor, and his father.

Brendan came very close not being able to become a Marine when on May 7, 2019 ... a student walked into his 12th grade English class at STEM School Highlands Ranch ... pulled out a gun and started firing. Brendan, then a Marine Corps poolee, and two other students made split-second decisions, reacting immediately ... taking down the suspect and preventing further bloodshed.

And while Brendon Bialy was unharmed, his good friend Kendrick Castillo, died by throwing himself on the shooter with another friend suffering two nonlethal gunshot wounds.

Brendon Bialy's comment to the media about he and his friends subduing the active shooter student...

"I don’t like the idea of running and hiding."
