The Harsh Reality of Solo Hiking | Newlands Horseshoe

Awesome hike taking on the Newlands Watershed bagging some new Wainwrights and a wild camp on the summit of Robinson. Awesome views, epic sunset and sunrise and 360 views both days.

As great as the hike was my knee was still playing up from the day before (which was the Kentmere Horseshoe Hike) and suffered with terrible pains in my knee. It was worth every minute of it though.

PS....Typically the Newlands Watershed includes heading down from Art Crags and over to Scar Crags and Causey Pike. However I really recommend doing these on the Coledale Horseshoe instead as it makes far more sense bagging when doing that route.
