I am selling one of the most well known trucks I have ever built. It makes me sad but it needs to happen. Here is the ad write up and be sure to check out the previous videos with this truck in the Dually Pace Truck playlist on my channel and on the @motortopiaondemand channel.

FOR SALE Hard to believe but it’s time for the Dually Pace Truck to go. This is by far the coolest truck I have ever built, and it gets attention from everyone everywhere I go. This truck was built in collaboration with Street Trucks Magazine, and I will include copies of the publications it was in. You can also find dozens of videos on YouTube on the Motortopia channel and the Yeah Buddy Garage channel showing everything that has been done. This truck was also a feature truck at Battle in Bama 2024 and was on the show shirt which I will include with the sale as well. Belltech Suspension asked me to bring the truck to Battle in Bama this year for their booth, but I could not commit because I knew I was going to be letting it go. Belltech is open to talking with the new owner about having it at their booth for Battle in Bama or future shows so there are still plenty of opportunities to be a feature truck at future events. It has also been a booth truck for LMC and SQRBDY, it was selected as a “Kings Under The Rings” truck at C10s In The City, won OBS of the year at OBS Summit, won top 25 at Battle in Bama 2024, was a featured truck at C10 Nationals in Nashville and completed the 2023 Hotrod Power Tour.
It's a 1993 Chevrolet C3500 that I have made into a 1993 Tribute Pace Truck. I bought the truck in the summer of 2022 with the intention of doing this build. Once we acquired the rendering and sponsors, I striped the truck down and gutted the interior. It then went to Mirror Image Autobody for a very nice paint job in a black and white 2 tone with the same GM colors as the pace truck. The clear coat is a 2 to 1 high solids clear that has been wet sanded and polished to a show finish.
Once I got the truck back I added killmat sound deadener, ultra plush carpet with mass backing, LMC sent me new bumpers, grille, lights, mirrors, all the glass, door seals, weatherstripping, dash and tailgate trim.I deep cleaned all of the original interior parts and refinished all of the interior panels with SEM Color Coat. I added suede headliner, a kicker 5 channel amp with a 10” sub and door speakers, retrosound radio, Dakota Digital sent me an HDX gauge cluster with a gear selector, AZA sent me a handmade steering wheel. Once the interior was complete Belltech sent me their 5/7 drop kit with front and rear sway bars, street performance shocks and c notch. I rebuilt the front suspension and steering with new control arms, new steering components and a new redhead steering gear box. AirLift sent me their wireless onboard air kit with a 2 gallon tank, air compressor and control module with a remote so you can adjust your bag pressure while driving. I cleaned and painted the frame, added a 7 pin trailer connector and installed a trailer brake. The truck then went to the Window Tint Shoppe to get it’s iconic graphics installed. They recreated the Pace Truck stripes to fit the dually and used reflective vinyl just like the original truck. The last step was adding the 22” Alcoa wheels and I replaced the cheap tires with a set of Nitto 420v 265/35r22 and drove it on a 5,000+ mile road trip from Florida to California and back.
The truck has its original TBI 454, 4l80e drivetrain with roughly 235k on the clock. It was owned by a racecar driver. They used the truck to haul their trailer and took very good care of the truck mechanically. I had the transmission and rear end serviced by a local shop and got a clean bill of health, installed a new carrier bear and u joints for the driveshaft, wrapped the headers, added electric fans, replaced the alternator, hydroboost, power steering pump, TBI throttle body, fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor, plugs, and wires and MAP sensor. It does have a very small oil leak from the front of the oil pan and an occasional miss when cruising at lower speeds. I’ve read this is a pretty normal for these TBI trucks and I’ve put 25,000 miles on it with no major issues. The only issues I’ve had were with cheap tires, cheap alternators, and the truck was eating ignition coils due to a faulty ground. I did the big 3 ground upgrade and have not had an issue with it since.
