Our presenter this week is Christianne Roumie, MD, MPH, Professor, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Institute for Medicine and Public Health, Vanderbilt University.
About Dr. Roumie: Roumie has developed research programs related to comparative effectiveness research designed to improve health outcomes by developing evidence-based information for patients, clinicians, and decision-makers about the most effective interventions for patients. Dr. Roumie has been a leader in the field of medication prescribing and cardiovascular epidemiology and improvement. Her work is focused at the intersections of clinical epidemiology, patient outcomes, and dissemination science among patients with hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. A critical aspect of this mission is to provide evidence-based care for therapeutics, including medication prescribing.
