Iowa FIRST ICE 2025: Risked EVERYTHING For Some Early Bluegills

ICE FISHING IS FINALLY HERE! After monitoring a local pond the past week I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was ready for some early action sooner then I would have expected. It is still VERY early and anyone planning to get out this week exercise extreme caution. A smaller pond not a quarter mile away had half the ice and was not safe! Not all ice is the same!
