Wendy's Commercials

This week we take a look at a couple fun Wendy's commercials. As I was going through the archive I couldn't help but notice Dave's rather loud tie... in two different commercials. I appreciate a continued story arch and also using the same actor taking his order. Proceeding those is a real toe tapper. I almost showed the second from this series too, but after a couple listens while editing, I felt like once is enough, as catchy as the song is though. Closing things is a fun cartoon tie-in with GoBots... which, to be honest, many won't watch to the end to actually see. But, for you faithful fans of the channel you might have noticed I do try to end things with fun twists when I can.

Adverse Archive is devoted to the capitalistic metaverse that is advertising: commercials! I've collected a couple hundred taped off TV VHS tapes and am slowly going through them extracting out the commercials and building an archive of Americana advertisements and pop culture references. I've developed my own software to extract and edit the files from the VHS conversions. This channel will feature a regular stream of quaint discoveries.
