WKC Road Race, 12 April 2025, TaG IAME, Summit Point Jefferson Circuit

First race of a new road race season with Woodbridge Kart Club on a circuit we've never run. Also decided to run the TaG IAME class this year to get some better parity with the guys I am racing against. Unfortunately, it didn't go well so this is a short one! The spring weather was miserable with temps in the 40s and on and off rain that really made it hard to get up to speed in practice. We ended up going out on rains, but unfortunately my rain tires are very, very old and I was frankly just going to be in the way. My plan was to run two laps and see if anyone fell out and then get off, but I couldn't hang on to it on the second lap and went around. I made it back onto an access road, but just limped it back and started a LONG afternoon of cleaning and checking everything. The good news is I only broke a radiator support, so we got it all set and ready to go again on Sunday!
