Blessing and Inauguration of Vista Mall – Iloilo 6/20/2018

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the formal opening of the Vista Mall in Iloilo, where he highlighted the commercial center as an important milestone in the development of the province and of the Ilonggos.

In his speech, President Duterte commended the Vista Land Group for its efforts in making Iloilo a more attractive environment for businesses and investments, saying this is an effective way to reduce poverty and generate more employment.

We have created an excellent setting where families can grow and business can flourish. I therefore encourage Vista Land Group to increase their existing investment to bring more quality jobs for Filipinos and for the country, he said.

President Duterte reassured that the national government is committed in doing its best to create conditions where enterprise can prosper and the living field is really even. He reiterated that during his term, his administration will continue to combat wrongdoings including illegal drugs and corruption.

“Together, let us work towards the collective growth of our people and the sustainable progress of our nation, the President said.

The Vista Mall Iloilo is owned by the Vista Land Group. It is under the chairmanship of former Senator Manny Villar.
