This describes the Night Ringing (aka: ringing service) and how to set it up. After hours ring programming is done in the System programming
Denied in Admin is a common message people get when trying to turn-on the Night mode. This is because they are trying to use the feature command for night ringing (Feature 871) from a phone that is not setup as the "control set".
Two major areas that need to be programmed for this to work:
1. you have to assign a "control" set for the night ringing service. The default is the 1st set (21, 221, 2221) or your receptionist locaion.
2. Defined the ringing sets for the night mode.
