PAINTMODZ FORD DE-LOCK DOOR HANDLE BEZEL INSTALL! | FOCUS RS

I install a new mod from Paintmodz on my Focus RS!

The mod is small but will make a big visual impact as you will see - the Paintmodz De-Lock Door Handle Bezel Mk3/3.5 Focus - Nitrous Blue!

The stock setup is a bezel with an exposed key lock which is of course functional and perfectly fine but it has been like a bullseye to thieves who see it as an opportunity to jam a big screwdriver into to try and steal the car (I don't think this is a very successful method and usually ends up in just mangling the lock) so this solution that Paintmodz came up with is essentially to cap off the lock.

Not only is it capping off the lock, but it fully replaces the key barrel which means there isn't even anything for the potential thieves to stick their implement into so this offers even more security once done!

Of course, being from Paintmodz, this a genuine Ford Parts item that has been properly painted in Nitrous blue (colour matched to basically any colour) which is done to a perfect level of colour matching, as I have come to expect from Paintmodz given my previous experience with painted washer jets and the cool shark fin aerial also on my MK3 Ford Focus RS!

The colour match is awesome and the overall paint job on the Paintmodz de-lock bezel is awesome - zero blemishes and everything down to having the proper nitrous blue sparkle looks super epic!

Along with the finish being perfect, the fit is also perfect and this is because Paintmodz use genuine Ford parts!

When installed, because of all these features, you wouldn't even know that the car didn't come like this from factory - which I would call a job well done!

I show the full process of installing, from removal of the stock bezel / lock barrel, all the way to installation of the de-lock bezel, giving advice on tools required along the way!

Installation is very quick, very easy and I think very very effective for such a small mod - the results speak for themselves so check it out!

One thing that I didn't show was that I ceramic coated the bezel to protect the paint that Paintmodz did on it and to do this I used Gtechniq Crustal Serum Light - an industry standard ceramic coating that is easy to apply and super effective:
