The 8th Pay Commission 2025-26 update is finally here!
After Modi Cabinet’s approval in January 2025, the new salary structure for central government employees and pensioners is expected to come into effect from January 1, 2026.

As per reports, the Fitment Factor could be around 2.46, which means the basic salary might double for millions of employees.
For example, a Level-1 employee’s basic pay could increase from ₹18,000 to ₹44,000.
There’s also a strong possibility that the Dearness Allowance (DA) will be merged into the Basic Pay, ensuring a stable salary structure for the next decade.

8वां वेतन आयोग (8th Pay Commission) को लेकर बड़ी खबर सामने आई है। मोदी सरकार ने जनवरी 2025 में 8वें वेतन आयोग को मंजूरी दे दी थी और अब उम्मीद है कि यह 1 जनवरी 2026 से लागू होगा।
इससे 50 लाख से अधिक केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों और 65 लाख पेंशनर्स को सीधा फायदा मिलेगा।

रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक इस बार Fitment Factor 2.46 हो सकता है, जिससे बेसिक सैलरी में दो गुने से ज्यादा बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिलेगी।
उदाहरण के तौर पर, लेवल-1 कर्मचारी की बेसिक सैलरी 18,000 रुपये से बढ़कर 44,000 रुपये तक पहुंच सकती है।
साथ ही चर्चा है कि महंगाई भत्ता (DA) को मूल वेतन (Basic Pay) में मर्ज किया जा सकता है।
