ITC Shorts #21 :- Intellivision 3539 SRAM Issue - Semi Common Problem

Many of the older model 1 Intellivision consoles, used SRAM chips for the video that were made by GTE and specifically the 3539 part number. These are decent sized 22 pin IC that over time, can develop internally problems.
For a bit more context, this Intellivision was sent back after having been previously serviced a year ago and upgraded with the no longer available RGB setup. However, the owner contacted me stating they had recently taken it out to play some games and after a bit of time, it had a burning smell and then shut off and wouldn't play games anymore. It was sent back to me and when I first tested it, the actually came up and worked just fine although the colors looked a little dark on the RGB output. That is when I decided to check if there was a low grade short in place causing excess current draw over time in the system. These 3539s shown in the video were the cause.
