Being in the hospital is tough for a kid, but the staff in the Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy Department is expert in healing children through fun and play. Child life specialists work to make the experience more fun for children, but also help with the hard stuff, giving children new ways to express themselves when it's hard for them to find the words to talk about how they're feeling. Almost all of the supplies and tools used by child life specialists are provided by generous donors, or philanthropic support.
