伴隨著『京滬十三豬』等Z字頭直達特快列車的開通，上海南京間，開行了當時最新款的「龐巴迪」特快列車，中途僅停靠蘇州壹站，滬甯線全程運行時間僅爲：2小時13分
(要知道滬甯城際首發列車「超頻」運行僅僅比它快15分鍾)
On April 18, 2004, the "fifth national railway speed-up" was launched. Along with the opening of the "Beijing-Shanghai Thirteen Pigs" and other Z-shaped direct express trains, the latest "Bombardier" express train at the time was launched between Shanghai and Nanjing, stopping only at Suzhou. The entire Shanghai-Nanjing line takes only 2 hours and 13 minutes to run. (It should be noted that the "overclocked" operation of the first Shanghai-Nanjing intercity train is only 15 minutes faster than it)
