Here’s a video of one of my most isolated intersections in the province. It’s a pretty busy intersection considering that this area isn’t overly busy in general.
We don’t have a crazy high pedestrian count here, but when people do cross and motorists may not be expecting them, at least there is a protected phase. It doesn’t contribute to any major delays since the ped and side street volumes are relatively low. There also probably should be a left turn arrow since most drivers are turning left.
