Frustrated Father Claims Controlling Mother & Her Lawyer Are Telling LIES To DELAY Reunification!

Today, we have 8 hearings in a case with a couple where Dad is trying to reestablish unsupervised
visitation with his son after an alleged DV incident that led in him losing his previously established custody. time.


Dad wants to start reunification therapy with his son and says that Mom has been using their son’s
“mental health” as a reason to continue to keep his son from him. He says he’s done everything the court
has asked of him and he thinks Mom is using any excuse to delay.


Mom lawyer claims that the son’s counselor actually thinks Dad’s visitation should be reduced and not
expanded in order to give the child some time to “heal.”


Dad says that therapist isn’t even a reunification counselor and has never even met him. He says she
knows nothing about him besides the lies that Mom has told her.


Should Dad be able to start reunification therapy now or does the son need “more time”?
