Google has done it again! This simple, free tour demonstrating a few examples of what lightfield capture can do is absolutely phenomenal. With just a couple feet of movement, the sense of presence you feel in these spaces is beyond anything you'll ever get from a 360 stereo photo, and in some ways it feels even more realistic than polished photogrammetry experiences, as those experiences don't provide specular and reflective information (which is absolutely perfect here).
I'm in VR all the time, and this is my favorite experience of 2018 so far because it gets me the most excited about new possibilities.
