Join us aboard our Bayliner 4788 as we navigate the approach and docking at Echo Bay, located on the north side of Gilford Island in the heart of the Broughton Archipelago, British Columbia. This remote and scenic destination, accessible primarily by boat or floatplane, is a popular stop for cruisers exploring the Inside Passage and the pristine waters north of Vancouver Island. Formerly known as Pierre's Echo Bay (or Pierre's at Echo Bay), the marina is now operated as Echo Bay Marina & Lodge under the ownership, offering a welcoming gateway to the region's stunning fjords, excellent fishing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing.
In this video, we capture the full process of approaching Echo Bay, maneuvering into the sheltered bay, and securing our docking at the marina, which provides sturdy floats, power hookups (15/30 amp available seasonally), and water.

A grocery store stocked with basic provisions, and snacks
