Garlic butter rolls 🧄🧀🧈🥬🤤
Ingredients
▪︎ Dough
140g all purpose flour( 1cup+ 2tbsp)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp + 1/4 instant/active dry yeast
80 ml (1/3 cup) warm milk
27g (2 tbsp) melted salted butter
17g (1 tbsp ) room temp yoghurt
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp crushed fennel seeds
1 tsp fresh chopped garlic
1tsp fresh chopped parsley
1-2 tsp extra flour if dough is too sticky
▪︎ Filling
Cheese
100g (1cup) mix shredded cheese
Butter
2tsp freshly chopped parsley
1.5 tsp freshly chopped garlic
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp crushed fennel
1/4 tsp salt
18g ( 1tbsp + 1tsp) softened unsalted butter
2 tbsp milk for brushing, pour on the remaining on the rolls
These were so light and fluffy and incredibly delicious, best eaten warm. If it goes dry or hard, heat it in the microwave with a teaspoon of water in a bowl at the side of it.
