Color Palette AIO TFT Game Boy Color (GBC) Backlight Kit

This is the newest version of the 'One Chip' version of the Game Boy All-In-One (AIO) TFT transflective backlight kits. Like the previous versions made by this manufacturer, this kit does not appear to have any frame dropping or tearing nor does it have any miscellaneous artifacts on screen (though I have not tested every single game so I can't be 100% sure).

Unlike the previous versions, however, this kit does have some new features in the form of custom override color palettes. These palettes can be applied to any game and changed on the fly, even with full or partial color games. You can mix and match with the built in color palettes (assuming your game supports them).

And it's actually a really nice kit. In most cases, I prefer the larger IPS version (made by Funnyplaying) though as I think it looks quite a bit better once installed.

I'm really liking the shell so far (especially being gaudy as fuck) but I'll detail that more in a future video. Do note that if you use that shell with this mod, you may have to install button controls for the brightness and palette control as the touch sensors will not work through the shell except in very specific locations.
