English Translation:

The Lord Who bore the Cross
The One, worthy of all praise
Gave Himself as a sacrifice
To free us all from sin

He accepted the crown of thorns
And was smitten by scourges
He was crushed for the sake of sinners
Thus was my Lord afflicted!

Turn your eyes to Him on the Cross
