Reduced Voltage Starters with Timers (Full Lecture)

In this lesson we'll take a brief look at timers used to coordinate the orderly transition from start to run mode for several different types of reduced voltage starting methods including: primary resistor reduced voltage starters, part winding reduced voltage starters, y start-delta run reduced voltage starters, and soft starters. This lecture primarily makes use of simple on delay (DOE) and off delay (DODE) timers. (Full Lecture)
