Well, of COURSE we went to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood.. it's paradise on earth!
But...ever more stealthily and speedily creeping up on us is the inevitable electric car. Now it has claimed the hillclimb record...and we see more and more manufacturers trying to tempt us away from our internal combustion joymachines.
As far as we see it, there is only a limited number of years left to experience the utter joy of tooling around in a gorgeous V8 'motor'.
We think the planet will be saved if we all buy 2nd hand cars ...because they already exist, we don't have to worry about all the dystopian hell let loose by making millions upon millions of brand new electric cars.
In the very near future, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be all electric... and all petrol cars will be part of Revival.
There, we said it. Now it's medication time and peepy night nights for us ol' petrol heads.
