This video contains three matches I had with the recently released Dahgi Iris on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 700 cost general with excellent aerial mobility, access to High Speed Mobile Shooting, access to an incredibly powerful scattering beam cannon, high melee damage, access to a shield parry, a beam rifle with three different powerful firing modes, LV1 Observational Data Link alongside it having an AoE spotting sub-weapon that can temporarily jam the radar of enemies. It suffers from having only two ranged weapons (despite those two weapons being very very powerful), having low HP alongside having no buffer skills. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2700 (1600x4) ((3600)) power, 65% (22%x4) ((90%)) heat, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 11 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m (500m) ((600m)) range, 1.5 seconds focus time and 20% (35%x4) ((100%)) stagger value. This has absolutely incredible performance. The uncharged shot does alright damage, but it instant staggers and consumes very little heat. The charged shot gains an ASL radius while also firing a high power four round burst with instant stagger. The second stage charged shot doesn't deal as much damage, but it retains the ASL radius while also being able to pierce through enemies.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2800 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.33 seconds swap time, 70% combo modifier and 130%x2 downswing modifier. This has a pretty slow neutral swing (clocking in at 16 frames start-up) and a short ranged downswing, but it can deal absolutely incredible damage if you are close enough to land it. The downswing is faster than most with it starting up in just 21 frames, with it further benefitting from dealing 30% extra damage if used mid-air.
Its first sub weapon is a scattering beam cannon with 300x3x3 (1000x3) power, 25%x3 (80%) heat, 3 seconds cooldown, 10 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m (300m) range, 1 second focus time and 25%x3x3 (35%x3) stagger value. This is a ridiculously powerful weapon, with it having a very tight spread alongside being able to be used while boosting. The uncharged firing mode can easily stop just about anything in one shot. The charged shot doesn't have as much stagger accumulation, but it instantly staggers, ignores 30% of the enemies beam resistance and pierces through shields/beam shields.
Its second sub weapon is a sensor unit with 0 power, 100% heat, 20 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time and 200m range. This has very short range, but activating it will send an AoE radar pulse every 4 seconds, with it overheating after the third pulse. Enemies caught within the pulse will be spotted and their radars will become jammed. Spotted enemies take 10% extra damage.
Its third sub weapon is a shield with 6000 HP, 2000 power and 0.33 seconds swap time. Equipping this will bring your shield in front of you. You can swing it like a melee weapon too, this has very short reach but does 2000 damage regardless of resistance or melee modifier, if you hit an enemy mid melee animation with it, they will be knocked over. The shield takes 40% less damage when equipped. If the shield is broken, you can no longer swing it.
The LV1 Dahgi Iris has 21500 HP, 22 ballistic resist, 30 beam resist and 26 melee resist. It has high beam resistance by default, but it is still really squishy due to having low HP and no defensive buffer skills. It has LV1 Maneuver Armor, LV2 Emergency Evasion and LV1 Fall Prevention System for defensive skills, but no special defensive buffers.
In terms of mobility it has 135 walking speed, 220 boost speed, 75 thrust and 84 turning speed. It has pretty good mobility at a glance, but it is even better than it first appears, since it has great aerial mobility, 95% walking speed side-to-side and 85% walking speed going backwards. It has LV3 Forced Injector, LV4 Flight Control and LV2 Flap Booster for mobility boosting skills. It has flight capabilities much like the F90 and Den'an Zon.
In conclusion, I feel that the Dahgi Iris is very powerful. It feels like the miniature MS version of the Sazabi and Sinanju in a way, since it has a ridiculously powerful scattering beam gun alongside access to High Speed Mobile Shooting. With how often you can fire it and with how much stagger power it has, you can intercept raids and generals incredibly easily. It is basically impossible for a raid to get past you if you can land the scattering beam, only F90MZ with the CA chip activated can resist it. It is a really great suit, and I think that it is a lot of fun, but just be careful about rolling when we are so close to the 7th Anniversary. Thanks for watching!
