Young Thug Co-Defendant Qua-Qua Takes Plea Deal After Week Long Trial Hiatus

Young Thug co-defendant Quamarvious Nichols took a plea deal on Tuesday afternoon in the YSL RICO case. The trial has been on hold for almost a week due to a statement another co-defendant Slimelife Shawty made. Nichols pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the RICO Act. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sentenced him to 20 years, with 7 years to serve.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
