Today I built a Heavy Gauss Rifle setup on the Firestarter H.
The Heavy Gauss Rifle is normally extremely difficult to use on a light mech, but thanks to a past patch buff, this build benefits from over 50% cooldown reduction, allowing for surprisingly fast follow-up shots. While it only carries a single Heavy Gauss, it is more than enough to constantly harass and pressure enemies. With 100% critical damage reduction quirks and access to jump jets, this Firestarter is far more stable than it looks. This is absolutely not a meme build. However, to make the Heavy Gauss fit, a significant amount of armor had to be sacrificed, so sticking close to your team is strongly recommended. If you want to experience Heavy Gauss Rifle gameplay on a light mech, there’s probably no better platform than the Firestarter H.
