2026 Acura RDX A-Spec Advance: Driving Without Talking | Car Conversations

Today we are driving the 2026 Acura RDX A-Spec Advance. The A-Spec Advance trim level combines the sporty styling of the A-Spec and the luxurious interior of the Advance. The exterior features gloss black trim, fully LED lighting, and 20” contrast wheels while the interior features beautiful materials like suede and aluminum and comfortable seats with 16 ways of power adjustments. The RDX is powered by only one engine, which is a turbo charged 2.0L 4 cylinder. That makes 272 horsepower and 280 pound feet of torque. It is mated to a 10 speed automatic transmission, but fuel economy isn’t the best at 23 MPG combined. The RDX offers a great driving experience. The ride quality is amazing, even though it doesn’t have adaptive dampers or an air suspension. Also, the relatively small size makes it very easy to maneuver and park. Compared to a large SUV like a Chevrolet Tahoe, something the size of the RDX gives you more comfort and security in tight situations. Power from the four cylinder is plentiful, and the engine makes a great noise. On the highway, there is a fair bit of wind noise especially compared to the MDX, but it shouldn’t be disruptive. The RDX offers all driving assistance systems as standard equipment, but there is nothing in the way of hands free driving capability. It is a very comfortable cruiser with the luxurious interior, and would be a great car to road trip in. Overall, the RDX is a very impressive vehicle. It has a great driving experience, a beautiful exterior and interior, and a good amount of space for the size. Thanks for watching!
