SINGAPORE
Today, Courtney and I made a plan to walk down the famous Joo Chiat Road in Singapore's local Peranakan neighborhood. At the north end, we start at Geylang Serai Market for the famous Putu Pering featured on Netflix's "Street Food Asia" show. Next, we stop for some pastry snacks at "The Original Vadai" and "Sha Zah Confectionary." Our main goal is traditional Katong Laksa: a bowl of coconut curry noodles with an unforgettable taste.
