In this video, I use the Artec Leo 3D scanner to capture the rear interior of my car — from the second row of seats all the way to the back.
I focus on the scanning process itself, and explain why I intentionally left the seats in different positions. This helps capture the full range of usable space and informs future designs based on real-world seat configurations.
The scan will serve as a foundation for upcoming custom projects — possibly drawers, storage, or sleep platforms.
What’s covered:
Step-by-step scan workflow using Artec Leo
Why seat positions matter in interior scans
How this scan helps in design and CAD modeling
Perfect for anyone planning a camper setup, overland rig, or DIY interior conversion.

I scanned my own car’s interior in 3D for travel and build ideas.
You’ll find the 3D files (OBJ, FBX etc.), behind-the-scenes content and project updates there.
More scans will come as future projects and vehicles roll in.
