Joshua Tseng was diagnosed with glaucoma when he was 7, rendering him without vision. Despite the setbacks he has faced, he persistently strives to break expectations and achieve the things he has once been told were impossible.
At this year’s TEDxSingaporeManagementUniversity, Josh passionately advocates for better understanding of the visually-impaired community by speaking about his personal experiences, and his hopes for better accessibility, inclusivity, as well as self-advocacy. Diagnosed with congenital glaucoma at the age of seven, Joshua Tseng, had been slowly losing his vision throughout his childhood. After an eye surgery at 16, he lost his remaining eyesight. Since then, he has started advocating for better understanding and inclusivity of the visually-impaired community by speaking publicly about his personal experiences. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
