This section encourages people to at least have a general understanding of the history of the evolution of Chinese characters.
Chinese characters originated in ancient times, with the earliest records dating back approximately 5,000 years. The widely recognized mature script, oracle bone script, dates back over 3,600 years.
Oracle bone script: Characters inscribed on tortoise shells or animal bones.
Bronze script: Characters cast on bronze ware. The formation of Chinese characters gradually evolved from pictographs to ideographs. After thousands of years of transformation, the script still retains the writing styles of Greater Seal Script, Lesser Seal Script, Clerical Script, Cursive Script, and Regular Script, possessing both high practicality and artistic value.
